Organizing competitions under the banners of Vivekananda-Cultural, Vivekananda-Yoga, and Vivekananda-Run Competitions can serve as a remarkable platform to unite communities, encourage wellness, and honor cultural diversity.
By invoking the name of Swami Vivekananda in the title for these competitions, a revered figure known for his contributions to spiritual and cultural revitalization, these competitions can inspire participants to strive for personal excellence and community involvement.
These inspiring competitions generally take place during the second semester of the year: Mostly August through December.

1. Vivekananda Cultural Competitions
2025 Events Start Date: 29th August 2025. Completed
Established in 1985, the Vivekananda Cultural Competitions initially focused on college students before expanding to include school children. The events feature a variety of contests, including the recitation of the Bhagavad Gita and Swami Vivekananda’s quotations.
A nominal registration fee of ₹5 applies to all participants per competition. Students from government schools are exempt and can register for free.

2. Vivekananda Yoga Competitions
2025 Event Date: 23rd November 2025, 6am (Sunday). Completed
In 2017, Samithi successfully launched its first-ever school-level yoga competition. Over 100 school students participated, and prizes were awarded on the same day. The event featured judges from various regions, and Sri Khadar Vali, a renowned yoga guru from Bapatla, was in attendance.
A nominal registration fee of ₹10 is required for all participants.

3. Vivekananda Run Competitions
2025 Event Date: 7th December 2025, 6am to 8am (Sunday)
This popular event has been a yearly tradition since its launch in 2016. This highly anticipated event has stood as a hallmark of community engagement in Bapatla. The run features multiple distances—2K, 5K, and 8K—allowing participants of all fitness levels to join this annual tradition and contribute to the local spirit.
A flat ₹10 registration fee is required for all runners.
