Knowledge has the power to purify, elevate, liberate, and unite a person with God.

Course Offerings and Accessibility:

Free of Cost: All courses, regardless of how you choose to take them, are completely free. This removes a significant barrier to entry, making the training accessible to everyone.

Offline and Online: You have the flexibility to choose the learning environment that best suits you.

No Disruption to Studies: The courses are specifically designed with school and college students in mind. The schedule and time commitment are structured so that participating will not interfere with your academic coursework.

Understanding the Two Courses:

The program offers two distinct, complementary paths: the Demonstrator Certificate Course and the Instructor Certificate Course.

1. Demonstrator Certificate Course (Focus on Practice):
This course is purely practical and focuses on physical skill and execution. No Theory.

The sole focus is on perfect execution—learning how to perform the asanas (postures) with precise form, technique, and alignment. This is about physical mastery and demonstration ability.

2. Instructor Certificate Course (Focus on Teaching):
This course is designed for those who want to teach others.

You must successfully complete a specific Level in the Demonstrator Certificate Course before you can enroll in the same Level of the Instructor Certificate Course.

This structure ensures that future instructors not only have the necessary theoretical and teaching knowledge (which would be covered in this course) but also have a certified, proven mastery of the practical skills they will be teaching. You must be able to perfectly perform an asana before you can be taught how to instruct someone else to do it.

1. Demonstrator Certificate Courses

A person holding a Demonstrator certificate would be eligible only to ‘demonstrate’ those yoga poses.

All the courses are offered free. This certificate is of SIX levels.

Depending upon the performance of the participant there will four grades. : A+, A, B+, B.

This course consists of above mentioned hours of Training. After successful completion of training there will be a practical test, in which we observe the alignment and correctness of the posture. Participant has to hold each asana for a minute with ease. Certificate will be offered only after clearing the practical test. Participant can reappear for the test any number of times.

Demonstrator Courses – Materials:

These certificate courses will commence on January 1, 2026.  Registrations for these courses will start from December 15, 2025.

We have different levels in this certificate program. We learn deeper aspects of yoga and its efficacy as we progress in the levels.

All the courses are offered free. This certificate is of SEVEN levels.

Certification and Examination Procedure

After successfully completing the required training hours, you will undergo a practical test to assess your mastery of the asanas.

Test Format and Requirements:
The test focuses entirely on your physical performance:

  1. Alignment and Correctness: We will observe your form to ensure the alignment and technique of each posture are correct.
  2. Sustained Holding: You must perform and hold each required asana for one full minute with ease.

Examination Options:

In-Person (On-Site): You may come to the Samithi (the organization’s center) to take the examination in person.

Online/Distant: If you are unable to travel, distant students can upload a YouTube video of their performance for evaluation. Examples of student presentation videos are available below for your reference.

Certification and Retakes

Your certificate will be granted once you clear the practical test. Don’t worry if you don’t pass on your first attempt—participants are welcome to reappear for the test any number of times until they succeed.
