A programme Sponsored by Ramakrishna Mission, Belur, Kolkata named Gadadhar Abhyudaya Prakalpa was conducted during this year as an extension of Balavihar. 100 students below the age of 12 were given all the necessary amenities during the year. Ramakrishna Mission, Rajahmundry was in-charge of this programme in Bapatla. Swami Aksharatmanandaji, Secretary of the Rahahmundry mission visited the samithi during the programme. The children of the nearby elementary school Sri Sitarama Municipal Primary School, formed a greater part of the number.
